10 Wedding Photos You Need With Your Maid of Honor
Here is the cutest list of bride and maid of honor photos. Be sure to save this article and share it with your friends.
This is by no means the only pictures, we’re sure there are plenty more ideas out there but this is where you should start.
1. Foreheads

Now this was our very first photo idea in the series and we’ve got a ton of positive feedback with this one. This photo is so loving and cute.
There is a dotting best friend or sister smiling at the bride as their foreheads touch. This photo is both comforting and shows the closeness of their friendship.
This picture could be difficult if you and the bride aren’t similar heights. For example, we’ve got some comments mentioning a step stool (LOL).
This photo pose has also stirred some controversy as some people think that it is “spicy.” Our take on that is you could choose to be bland if you want. But we think this is adorable!
2. Heart Hands
The heart hands is an iconic picture. Now if you’re a millennial then you know that this pose was EVERYWHERE back in the day.
If your maid of honor is your childhood friend and your carefree days were during that period then we highly recommend this pose. Especially if you and your bestie have done this pose. We’re sure it’s archived somewhere on Facebook (LOL).
The majority of our viewers really liked this and so we think that it’s a great idea for this list.
Of course, we got some comments saying that this pose was “cringe” or “so 2012.” But they don’t understand. You just had to be there.
3. Pep Talk
Pep talk is when the maid of honor hypes the bride up and gets her excited about her big moment. there are several variations of this pose.
It could be face-holding, excited jumping, holding each other, etc. This is the close moment between them when the bride is reminded that her dreams are coming true today.
And the Maid of Honor shows her how excited she is to be there with her. Reminding her that she could do this. And to not forget what is important about the day.
4. Button Up
This picture is a MUST because it is a chance for the photographer to get the back of the dress. Together this is a part of getting ready but we think that this deserves its shot.
Please make sure that you have a button hook for after the photo because trying to button a wedding dress with your nails done takes FOREVER.
When you get to the second to last button remove the button hook and then get the photo. That way it looks like you button the entire dress yourself by hand.
5. Dress Check
Dress check is the Maid of Honor fixing and adjusting the dress as needed. If the dress is not looking A1 at all times, then she’s not doing her job. So having a dress check is a must throughout the day before the ceremony.
This is a nice photo to have with the Maid of Honor because it is her adoring the dress and making sure the bride’s dress looks top-tier.
This is a special photo because it captures the helpful friend and the importance of the iconic maid of honor role.
6. The Veil

This is another iconic photo to taken with your Maid of honor while getting ready.
This is like crowning the princess and it is a very significant moment for the bride. Because it is after she gets the veil on. She is officially ready for her wedding.
There were arguments in the comments saying that this photo should be for the mother. That is a valid point.
We think If the bride’s mom has passed away, or is not present, then this would be a great photo for the bride and maid of honor.
7. Cinderella
A little shoe moment is so cute! Getting a picture of the maid of honor fixing the bride’s beautiful shoes is an amazing shot.
You could get a glimpse of the bride’s shoe game and see another way the Maid of Honor is important.
So basically get pictures of the maid of honor getting ready from head to toe.
8. Pass the Bouquet
This is a commonly forgotten moment between the bride and maid of honor during the ceremony. When the bride is about the take the groom’s hand, she is supposed to pass her bouquet to the maid of honor.
This should be a picture for the wedding album. The maid of honor holds the bouquet while the bride says her vows and participates in the ceremony.

9. Pajama Moment
Get some pictures of it before you all start getting ready. Maybe add a little champagne toast for this shot. Flaunt the cute pajama set or robes together with the bridesmaids as well.
