Ice Cream
A sweet treat is a very popular date night idea. It’s good for times when you don’t want to buy or make a full blown meal and just want dessert.
Hiking
Backpacking up a trail or mountain is a good way to spend time together on a nice spring or summer day. Be sure to make a campfire or have other romantic plans for the evening.
Walking
Walking outdoors or indoors is a beautiful way of sharing your time with your spouse a long intimate walk will definitely bring you closer. My spouse and I still do this. Now we bring our children along.

The invigorating scent of a coffee shop always gets a good conversation going.

Great food and games! This is sure to be fun and romantic. We like to go late afternoon into the evening. It looks so beautiful!
Movies
Whether it’s binge watching Netflix or going to see Avengers Endgame, a good movie is a staple date night idea.
Skating
Learning how to skate together is absolutely hilarious.
Bowling
This a perfect date night idea for a group of couples. I have gone bowling with my fiancé with a group of other friends and their significant others. It really was an eye opener to see how competitive every one was during bowling. It was a lot of fun. Even if you aren’t all that good.
Book Store
I love books. You could learn a lot about a person from the types of books they like to read.
Museum
Art galleries and museums is a good idea for history buffs and fans of masterpieces. Local museums should be free or a very small fee. This is a chance to learn new things with your spouse.
Live music
This is my favorite date night idea! Me and my spouse have been to a number of concerts and jazz clubs. We have seen Boyz II Men, Prince, Kanye West, Marvin Sapp and there are so many artists we want to see.
Some of the concerts have been free but most of them were paid. We were sure to get our money’s worth by showing up early and enjoying each other’s company while waiting for the show to start.
Board games or card games
Monopoly, scrabble, chess – oh my! This idea is pretty old school but it is still fun. We recently had played I Declare War and we love to play Spades with family members.
Go -Karting
Get and enjoy some high performance indoor racing. This is also fun to do as a group with other couples and friends.
Laser Tag
Your inner child will shine through with laser tag. This is so much fun. I went with my spouse and his little cousins. We had a great time. I was exhausted when I got home.
Arcade
This is always a classic choice. If you don’t have a local arcade you could gather up some video games and play together. Me and my spouse love to play different variations of Sonic and Mortal Combat.
Happy Hour
This is easy enough. Especially after a long work week.
Play outdoor sports
My spouse and I love doing things outdoors. One of our favorite activities are biking and basketball, well my version of basketball. 🙂

This is great to do together n the weekend and it is a good way to get your mind off of any stresses. It definitely blows off steam.

Farmer’s Market
Get some veggies for a nice meal you could cook together later on.
Make your Wedding plans like cake testing, wine tasting and interviews with planners and photographers double as a date. Schedule something afterwards. It could be as simple as watching an Episode of Game of Thrones together after meeting with the wedding planner.
