Reasons the groom could attend bridal shower
There are some instances where the groom could attend the bridal shower. Say if you are having a couples shower or a Jack and Jill bridal shower, then it would be assumed that the groom will be there. Some other reasons to include the groom are:
He could help load gifts in the car at the end- You may need an extra set of hands breaking things down and cleaning up after the bridal shower. And he could be a big help carrying all of the heavy thing to the bride’s car.
He could be there for the couples games- If you are planning on playing some couples games, then it would be fun to have the groom there. One example of a couples game is the bridal shower shoe game. It is absolutely hilarious!
Conclusion
Does the groom attend the bridal shower? No. But he could be included if you could keep him busy. Either way it is totally up to you. Whatever you decide, have a fabulous time at the bridal shower.
Remember, your bride tribe will be the main people planning your bridal shower, so if you want the groom there, be sure to let them know. And make sure the groom knows what he will be doing.
