It’s party time! The day is finally here. You have worked so hard planning and setting up all of the decorations. Now it is time to have fun. What should you be doing? If it is a surprise shower, the bride should arrive at least 30 minutes after all of the guests have arrived. Be sure to assign a person the be the “look out” for when the bride arrives so everyone is prepared to yell “surprise!”

Decorate the bride

When the bride arrives, be sure to present her with any special items she should be wearing for the bridal shower. For example, present her “Bride to Be” sash or lei.

Follow your timeline

Be sure to follow you schedule as planned. Make sure that activities, food and games start at their scheduled time (give or take). It is good to keep the bridal shower flowing because you do not want it to be too long.

Go with the flow

It important to follow the mood of the bridal shower. If your guests are having a lot of fun with a certain activity, keep it going. Be sure that every one is having a good time. You do not want to rush your guest, but you don’t want them waiting and wondering what is next .

Help with presents

Help the bride put her presents in her car.
